Awesome!  Worked like a charm from the Movie Art menu.

Thanks again for all your work on the app.

No love on the Edit->Save route, still didn't update the fanart...  I also tried to select different sizes and pictures for fanart and still no change.  If it helps any, my testcase is Akira (1988) but it's independant of the movie.

Oh, make sure you do 'Edit' and then 'Save' (even if nothing changed) to force a rewrite)).

I was going to ask whether it is shown as bolded but then you already pointed it out.. You should right click and set 'Fanart' or 'Thumbnail' from the popup menu. I had a quick look and saw that it basically marked it. I am not totally cetain whether the artwork is rewritten on a 'rewrite nfo'. I know it is rewritten when you edit the movie (right-click->edit). I probably should rwrite the artwork when you exit it. Let me know whether edit works and if it does, I will make a quick fix to rewrite right there in artwork.

Sorry, at work and little time before tonight plus this YAMF thing has been taking up all my time ...

I've read through the docs, but I still cannot seem to get MR 0.55 to grok using something other than the scraped thumbnail and background.  I right-click on the movie in the database and select Movie Art, then select the picture to use, pick either fanart or thumbnail and hit ok.  I'd expect it to go ahead and replace existing art at this point, but it doesn't seem to do anything so I tried Actions -> Rewrite nfo but it still downloads the default pictures over my selections.  If I go back into Movie Art I can see that the picture I've selected as fanart is in bold font and thumbnail is in italics so it is keeping it in the database correctly.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this an issue wih MR?

I'm running it on a 64bit Ubuntu Jaunty system with the Sun 1.6 JDK.

Kudos on having an overall very solid true cross-platform app!
