You need to have Java installed. If you don't have it, yet, you can get it from http://java.sun.com/getjava. Once you have it installed, just double-click mr.jar and it will take you through a short installation. In the end it will create a shortcut icon for you.

Alternatively you could go tot he command line and say 'java -jar mediareader.jar' but that should not be necessary. Make sure you have java 1.6876632 installed. YOu can find out what version you have by either looking at the java directory in Program Files, should be obvious, or typing in 'java -version' at any command prompt.

this may be a dumb question, but how do I start this program (on Windows)? I downloaded 0.48 and 0.50 and and only have a mediareader.jar and mr.jar and the documentation doesn't tell anything about this...
