Excellent job, I'm not receiving the error anymore as it's analyzing all of my movie files.  Thanks for the help and for a great program that works for us "alternative" OS folks!

It's fixed in 0.47. Please get this and let me know. I was able to reproduce. Windows and Linux behave quite differently.

[tjhobbes 2009-06-19 12:54:38]:

I've dowloaded/installed your latest Mediareader, v0.46 and have also installed the mediainfo binaries for my distribution (Ubuntu 9.04).  I configured Mediareader in the profile options for the mediainfo location, which is /usr/bin/mediainfo, but when I try to use the option for "read media info" or just analyze files I receive the following message:

Cannot run program ""/usr/bin/mediainfo"".java.io.IOException:error=2,No such file or directory

Like I said I installed this from binary, but I've also tried downloading the source and compiling it, copying it to a folder in /home and changed the setting for Mediareader, but received the same error.  I've also verified my java version, which is 1.6.0_13

Thanks,

TJ

Hi,

not totally sure why that is so. I am about to put out 0.47 and I generally test it on a variety of platforms before putting it out. I will run your test and make sure it works with this version. I will run it on Ubuntu 9.04 (I have a VMWare image of that installed).

Chcek later again tonite for the new version. It will have verified the functionality with mediainfo by then.
