It looks like you nare running under Windows? It has a problem initializing the Mozilla engine. I'd have to know more about it. Analyze and XBMC processing assumes that you already went through the rename process (manually pull in the show, right-click the season and pick rename and then select the directory where the files are located).

To get everything picked up make sure that under profile you have added a directory in or above the TV shows in the list of directories to scan. Then pick 'Process new'. Let me know what happens.

No crash... nothing in fact.

http://pastebin.com/m1c25f65e

This is under 0.4.5. If I run it as non-administrator there's an additional complaint about accessing derby.log. Running as admin - no errors at all, and it just sits.

This is under "Analyze". If I run XBMC or Full XBMC processing, it complains about not having the show. If I've added shows manually, it then creates the various files under the show root, but no NFO files in the season directories, nor does XBMC ever add the shows to the library.

Movies works fine.

You are lucky. I am on the road with my bike in some town whose name I cannot pronounce and broke down. So I go read your post Cool.  Sorry about the download. I could fix that from here. I cannot get to my code, through. So you should be able to download 0.45 now.

I am running Vista 64 as my main machine myself, and that normally performs rock solid.

What is likely that is happening is that it is taking an exception but you don't see it.

  1. Download the latest version.
  2. Jun it in a command window as 'java -jar mediareader.jar'. If it takes an exception now it will write a stack dump. COpy that and paste it to pastebin.

I'll try to figure out what's going on but I may not be able to fix it until I am off the road back next week. Maybe your issue is already fixed with this code drop. I really cannot say without the stack dump.

Running under Vista Ultimate 64 bit, downloaded the latest Java today. Two issues - when launching, it advises of .45 but it's not to be found on the downloads site. Second problem: the TV scraper just does nothing! Movies work fine, but whenever I try to scan for a TV show it never returns an answer, and the little status bar at the bottom just animates forever.
