Yes, a dummy series, but the important bit would be to be able ot add seasons and episodes at a whim. Im not sure grabbing a tv series using ctrl-f and editing them would be all that useful unless i found something really long. Take home movies for example, any time you add one, a new episode would need to be added to the season. I think, perhaps the best method for this would be to Right click in the list with an option to add a blank series nfo. Then you can right click on that series to add a blank season, then again on the season any time you need to add a blank episode. Then one can edit them at a whim. If that is too much work, then don't worry about it. I know you intended to shelve the project.

Not sure what you are asking for: Produce a dummy series, season and episode or produce an 'empty' movie? You know you can always scan a bogus one (CTRL-F) and then edit it to your liking?

Would it be at all possible to be able to create a tv series database entry and nfos from scratch? This would allow me to create nfos for tv shows that are not found, and other things I would prefer to be displayed in the tv show section of xbmc, such as home videos, and various webisodes/other miscellaneous vids from the net
