This page contains links to my (hopefully regular) video project builds. You may obtain the direct sources from the mplayer team (for mplayer/mencoder), Videolan (for x264) and the ffmpeg maintainers. I retrieve the respective sources via svn and git on the date indicated and then rum the builds. The builds include a variety of other sources (open sources), all of which you may find in this section. I took the liberty of rar'ing instead of tar'ing them as the target platform is Windows. I hoped to make it a tad easier for Windows users. The AMD builds are optimized for the family 10 of AMD processors (such as Phenoms). It may not work with an Athlon 64, as a matter of fact I am pretty sure it will not. For my personal purposes it squeezes a few more cycles out of my CPUs so I opted for the latest AMD processors. The x64 builds are targeted at i686 processors and will run on your average Athlon as well. If there is a runtime-detection build it will do its best to adjust to whatever hardware you have. I am merely using the proper configuration flags on the build so what exactly the code does I have little knowledge of. Let me know if you have problems with the actual builds. For code questions, please direct your inquiries to the respective code maintainers. You will need the Posix threads dll which is unlikely to change, so download only once.
